Online Access

The NHS App is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet.

We are now live with our “PRIORITY” based. Appointment system that patients access by completing an online form. If you are requesting an appointment (be it urgent or routine), please use the online form via the website homepage. You can also use your NHS APP on your smart phone or tablet device. We have instructed our receptionists to direct you to the form to leave the phone lines free for those who cannot access the internet.

Home visits

Home visits are for patients who are too ill or frail to attend the surgery and the Doctor will generally telephone the patient or relative prior to arranging the visit.

Please request home visits by 10.30 am if possible.ᅠIf a patient needs to be seen urgently please let the Receptionist know.ᅠThe Receptionist may need to ask for more information to allow the Doctor to assess the degree of urgency.ᅠ Children can usually be seen much quicker at the Surgery and in an emergency will be seen straight away.

  • Face to face at the surgery
  • On a video call

Cancelling or changing an appointment

To cancel your appointment:

  • Use your NHS App
  • Phone us on 0161 983 6222, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.00pm
  • Via your appointment reminder text message

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:

  • If there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
  • If you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face or by video call.
  • If you need an interpreter
  • If you have any other access or communication needs
